From the shape of one of the weapons represented, it is believed that these petroglyphs were executed about B. C. 1500 

These are of petroglyphs in the neighborhood of the celebrated Laghi delle Meraviglie, near Val Fontanalba, Italy. Includes 17 prints, 40 miscellaneous sheets containing rubbings, etc. and three letters (copies) transmitting the material and giving details of their acquisition
